The JLF Group, a French manufacturer, has always integrated social, environmental and economic concerns into its activities with its various stakeholders. In fact, for many years the JLF Group has gone to great lengths to produce its insoles and accessories in its Villebois-Lavalette factory, which is near Angouleme in the Charente department.
All of these approaches have now been embodied within the “Committed Entrepreneurs” CSR label. The leading collective brand for French SMEs, it takes the form of a seal of approval that is awarded after a strict and demanding audit conducted by the independent ECOCERT Environnement agency. The “Committed Entrepreneurs” label attests to the commitment of an entrepreneur and their company to a CSR improvement programme. This is demonstrated through sound social, environmental and commercial practices in addition to the anticipation and taking into account of customer expectations.
The JLF Group has always paid a great deal of attention to the working conditions of its employees and suppliers and it has a major health and safety policy in place for the benefit of its employees as well as its clients. The company has been striving for many years to favour local employment and the prosperity of its territory thanks to its work with local suppliers and service providers.
Lastly, the JLF Group has been focusing an increasing amount of its efforts on problems linked to the environment, whether in terms of production, the development of new products, waste treatment, etc.
This certification is in addition to the ISO 9001 one that the Group obtained in 2005, yet another sign of the company’s quality.
